Terms and Conditions – Ambrosia
Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Ambrosia: the sole proprietorship operating under the name Ambrosia, organizing events and based in the Netherlands.
- Visitor: any natural person who purchases a ticket or attends an Ambrosia event.
- Agreement: the agreement between Ambrosia and the visitor regarding participation in an event.
- Event: any activity organized by Ambrosia, including (but not limited to) dance events, parties, workshops, and outdoor editions.
- External ticket provider: a third party through which tickets are sold (such as Hipsy or WeTicket).
Article 2 – Applicability
- These terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Ambrosia and visitors of its events.
- By purchasing a ticket via an external ticket provider, the visitor agrees to these terms and conditions.
- Ambrosia reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The most recent version will always be available on Ambrosia’s website.
Article 3 – Formation of the Agreement
- The agreement is concluded once the visitor purchases a ticket for an event via the ticket provider.
- Ambrosia is only bound by its obligations once payment via the ticket provider has been successfully completed.
Article 4 – Cancellation, Force Majeure and Changes
4.1 Purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless the event is cancelled by Ambrosia.
4.2 In the event of force majeure, Ambrosia has the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel an event without the visitor being entitled to a refund or compensation, unless Ambrosia decides otherwise.
Force majeure means any circumstance beyond Ambrosia’s control that wholly or partially prevents the fulfilment of its obligations. This includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters, fire, flooding, pandemics, epidemics, illness of staff or artists, technical failures, strikes, war, threat of terrorism, government measures, sudden changes in permits or regulations, utility failures, transport issues, or the unavailability of the venue due to causes beyond Ambrosia’s control.
In such cases, Ambrosia will make reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative, such as rescheduling the event to another date or location. If an event is rescheduled due to force majeure, tickets remain valid for the new date. If the visitor is unable to attend the new date, Ambrosia may, at its sole discretion, offer a (partial) refund or a voucher.
4.3 Ambrosia reserves the right to change the program, line-up, location, or start times of an event if deemed necessary for proper execution or due to circumstances beyond its control. Changes to (part of) the program or line-up do not entitle the visitor to a refund of (part of) the ticket price.
If an event is partially cancelled for organizational or safety reasons (e.g. early termination or capacity restrictions), Ambrosia will reasonably assess whether a full, partial, or no refund is appropriate. Ambrosia is not liable for additional costs incurred by visitors, such as travel, accommodation, or other indirect damages resulting from changes or (partial) cancellation.
Article 5 – Liability
- Attendance at events is at the visitor’s own risk.
- Ambrosia is not liable for damage to property or personal injury, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
- Ambrosia is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings.
- Participants are responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional condition during events. Ambrosia advises visitors not to engage in activities that exceed their personal limits and disclaims any liability for direct or indirect consequences thereof.
Article 6 – Code of Conduct, Safety and Sobriety Policy
- Visitors must follow the instructions of Ambrosia and its staff.
- Ambrosia reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove visitors who display disruptive, inappropriate, or dangerous behavior.
- It is not permitted to make professional photo, video, or audio recordings without prior permission.
- Photos and videos may be taken during events. By entering the event, the visitor consents to Ambrosia using this material for promotional purposes, unless the visitor explicitly objects upon arrival.
- Ambrosia organizes events focused on natural connection and awareness. It is not permitted to enter or attend events under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other mind-altering substances. Ambrosia reserves the right to refuse or remove visitors suspected of intoxication or disruptive behavior, without refund.
